A conference has just been announced, to be held in Hartford June 14-15, on “the human impact of crime and incarceration, including new approaches to juvenile and young adult offenders, pretrial justice, incarceration, and re-entry.” It will be held at the Hartford Marriott Downtown, 200 Columbus Boulevard, and it is hosted by the Gov. Malloy and his wife. The keynote speaker will be Valerie Jarrett. The cost is only $90, including meals, for the one-and-a-half-day conference. Speakers and topics to be announced.
